Each October, The Women and Gender Resource Center recognize Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness by hosting a variety of educational programs. Please see the information below and plan to join us.
The WGRC invites you to wear a purple ribbon and/or purple attire on Fridays throughout the month as a show of support for survivors of dating and domestic violence. Take a photo and share it on social media using #CrimsonGoesPurple and #DVAMUA.
Located throughout campus, stop by and create a ribbon in honor of a domestic violence or breast cancer survivor or someone who has lost their life. Together, ribbon submissions show some of the impact breast cancer and dating/domestic violence have had on our community.
