The Women and Gender Resource Center Ambassadors (WGRC Ambassadors) are trained by professional staff members on the issues of interpersonal violence, victim’s rights, reporting options, and resources available to our campus community with a goal of promoting positive bystander behavior and building safe communities.

What does a WGRC Ambassador do?

The WGRC Ambassadors give presentations to the campus community on a variety of topics related to interpersonal violence. These presentations may include but are not limited to: classes, student organizational meetings, and residence hall programs. As trusted peers, WGRC Ambassadors play a central role in raising awareness of interpersonal violence and educating others on how to support victims and survivors on campus.
