Take Our Children to Work Day is a national event that has been ongoing for over twenty years. On November 20, 2017, The University of Alabama will host the event for the third time here at the capstone. This year’s event will be sponsored by the Women and Gender Resource Center, Ferguson Student Center, and Graduate Parent Support Programs. Faculty, staff, and UA students who are parents are invited to bring their child (ages 8 – 18) to campus for a day of activities that would expose them to the opportunities for learning and growth available to them here at The University of Alabama.

In order to participate in this event, please follow these directions:

  • You must be an UA employee or UA student who is a parent/guardian of a child (or children) between the ages of 8 – 18 years old.
  • If you are an UA employee, you must have permission from your immediate supervisor to participate.*
  • If you are a UA student parent, you must have permission from your instructors or professors for classes that would be impacted on November 20,2017.*
  • Complete the following registration form on the following link by November 10, 2017.
  • You must accompany your child to activities for the entire event.
