Take Our Children to Work Day is a national event that has been ongoing for over twenty years. The University of Alabama has hosted the event for the last five years. The event was sponsored by the Women and Gender Resource Center, The University of Alabama Student Center, and Graduate Parent Support Programs. Faculty, staff, and UA students who are parents were invited to bring their child (ages 8 – 15) to campus for a day of activities that exposed them to the opportunities for learning and growth available to them here at The University of Alabama.
